I started this company because I was tired of seeing what passes for bathroom remodeling in DFW — cement board on second-floor showers, premixed grout in wet rooms, three subcontractors who never met before showing up to your house in the same week.
Golden Era is owner-operated. I'm on every job site, every day, from demo through the final caulk line. I waterproof every shower with Schluter Kerdi or RedGard, set every tile with real cement or epoxy grout, and I sign every estimate myself.

Our Process
A typical DFW master bathroom remodel runs 4 to 6 weeks. We tell you the schedule before demo starts, and we don't move from it.
Phase 1 — Design & Material Selection (1 to 4 weeks before demo)
Lock every tile, vanity, faucet, fixture, and glass spec on paper before tools come out. Skip this and your project stalls mid-build.
Phase 2 — Demo (1 to 3 days)
We tear out the tub, shower, vanity, toilet, flooring, and tile. We document anything we find behind the walls before we move on.
Phase 3 — Rough-In (3 to 7 days)
Plumbing rough-in, electrical rough-in, framing changes, niche framing, shower pan prep — and the city inspection that closes everything in.
Phase 4 — Tile, Drywall + Waterproofing (5 to 12 days)
Cement board. Schluter Kerdi or RedGard waterproofing. Pan. Tile. Grout. Cure. This is the longest phase and it can't be rushed.
Phase 5 — Paint, Vanity + Fixtures (3 to 5 days)
The bathroom starts to look like a bathroom again. Paint, vanity, sink, faucet, toilet, lighting, plumbing trim-out.
Phase 6 — Glass + Punch List (5 to 14 days)
Custom glass measured, fabricated in DFW, installed. Punch list walked. Final inspection. You have your bathroom back.

Most DFW bathroom remodels we do fall between $15,000 and $45,000. A guest bathroom refresh with new tile, vanity, and fixtures is typically $15K–$22K. A full master bath with walk-in shower, custom tile, and stone work usually lands $30K–$45K+.
How long does it take?
Guest bathroom: 2–3 weeks. Master bathroom with walk-in shower and custom tile: 4–6 weeks. We give you a firm schedule up front and we don't start until we have all the materials on hand.

Yes — fully licensed and insured in Texas. General liability and workers' comp on every job. Certificates of insurance on request.
